This privacy policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information as a user of our general management/moderation Discord Bot. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring that any personal information we collect is handled responsibly.

Our Discord Bot collects information necessary to perform its intended functions as a general management/moderation bot on your server. This information may include user IDs, usernames, and other data that is necessary to complete moderation tasks or manage the server. We may also collect usage data, such as commands used, to improve the functionality of our bot.

We will not collect any sensitive personal information, such as passwords or payment details.

All Unknown Errors will be logged for inspection following the v3 update in order to help isolate edge cases and ensure that any time a user is at fault for the error there is a clear and concise reason for why and what they can do to avoid any future reoccurrences. The data collected in these error reports is limited to your input for the command and any associated ids to help troubleshoot. (userIds, guildIds, channelIds, messageIds, etc.)

Data Sharing

We will not share your personal information with any third parties except when required by law or to comply with a court order.

Our Access to Your Community

If you request help with a given feature you're thereby authorizing our team to join your community and help you with the requested matter. If the bot joins a server that has been nuked or is otherwise atypical/suspicious a representative may join your server to check and ensure that there isn't any abuse of the bot or violations of our TOS agreement. We have this policy in place to protect the image of our bot, ensure that it runs smoothly for those using it legitimately and uphold our values.

Data Storage and Security

To ensure the utmost security of your personal information, we use secure servers and implement the necessary technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Additionally, for any support or data deletion requests, we kindly ask that you utilize the support tickets channel located on our official support Discord server at https://support.goldendev.net to create a ticket and receive assistance.

Your Rights

As a user of our Discord Bot, you have the right to access and update your personal information at any time. You can also request that we delete your personal information, except where we are required by law to retain it.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will provide notice via our Discord server and will ping the Policies Update Role which can be selected during the onboarding processing upon joining or later in the customize community tab. https://support.goldendev.net
